sp2: palau (cycle five): Troy again

Posted in Random Thoughts, Television by tres on September 24, 2009

For cycle five, reward challenge was not between Airai and Koror as the usual case may be. This time, it was between tribemates’ favorites to the least liked tribemates. Most liked castaways, composed of Marvin, Echo and Suzuki of Koror with Cris, Mika and Charles of Airai, won the challenge winning a Coke Zero reward.

Koror got their third straight immunity challenge win sending Airai to their third tribal council. Yey!

On a not-so-surprising tribal council, Troy was voted off booking him for a scheduled faceoff with Justine.

While I have correctly predicted that Troy could be voted off next, I liked it when Justine proved me wrong that Troy would win the faceoff. Again, I love it when the game gives me a result I never expected to happen.

Ranking the remaining 12 castaways:

  1. Marvin
  2. Cris
  3. Suzuki
  4. Echo
  5. Mika
  6. Amanda
  7. Shaun
  8. Charles
  9. Tara
  10. Louie
  11. Justine
  12. Jef

Marvin still holds the number one position as he was again instrumental in both the reward and immunity challenges that gave his team win both times. While the survey before the reward challenge means nothing, Amanda got down a bit with the result of that survey. Still the Koror remains unbeatable in my book and I think they can win another immunity. They are such a dream tribe.

However, if Koror faces the next tribal council, Jef will still be the weakest. Again she might lose to Justine in the next faceoff if it happens. If it will be Airai once again, it is still Louie’s fate to be determined. He can still manage to get through it but it will be his own strategy for it to happen. It is either for him to unite the former Koror tribe members and vote out either Cris or Mika or for him to convince others that Tara should go next. Both are possibe to happen. But even if it will be Louie’s turn to be voted out, I think he has a good chance on staying on the exile island by beating Justine in the faceoff.

Some random thoughts.
